I’m Nichole and I belong to the trees. Just call me the Lorax.

Ok, well maybe not the Lorax exactly, but I’m pretty close. While most people will wander into the wilderness and dread their entire existence, I do the exact opposite. I embrace the bugs and the sweat and the cramp you got five miles ago but you keep hiking anyways. No, but seriously, I love nature, which inspired me to create this website. Specifically, I like capturing things that please the eye, and nature tends to be the right victim for my game. From photography to short poems and stories, it can be found here. I also find beauty in other people’s creations and capturing, so I included a place for submissions. Though I was born and raised in flat freaking South Dakota, I find God’s beauty in everything around me. This leads to me taking out my phone (probably dropping it in the process) and snapping a quick shot so I remember it forever. Welcome to the Nichole Hansen Natural Photographer site!

I am a Public Relations student at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, who has a passion for design and writing. I graduated from Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, South Dakota, and since then, I have been working to obtain achievements in my major. I have an eye keen for creativity and style as well as a mind full of unique ideas. I plan to graduate with my four-year degree and continue on to either journalism, non-profit work, or broadcast.
